How Does Phess Compare?
- Classic Bidet (found in luxury hotels and homes) -
The classic bidet resembles a cross between a toilet and a sink. It requires plumbing and additional surface space making it expensive to install. The user must stratle the bidet while adjusting the faucet for correct pressure and temperature.
- Hand Held Mini-Shower Head (Connected to commode flexible water supply line) -
Many Muslim countries use this system for cleansing. Unlike Westerners though, a simple hole in the floor suffices, requiring the user to squat. The position of the trigger, located directly behind the spray nozzle, makes it very awkward when combined with a toilet; to make the situation worse, water is supplied from the toilets cold water supply line, making it positively uncomfortable, unless you happen to live on the equator!
